28 Upper High Street, Thame, OX9 3EX
There has been a bakery on site for many years in Thame, but in 2011 The Cottage Bakery was taken over by The Webb family. It is a family-run traditional bakers. They bake on-site using traditional techniques such as hand moulding. In their baking they use flours from Wessex Mill, a mixture of local butchers, and Nixey and Sons eggs from Chinnor. They sell these eggs in their shops in Thame and Haddenham alongside many other locally made products such as; Lacey’s Family Farm milk, honey from Ludgershall, flours from Wessex Mill in Wantage and from the Cotswolds, and they are always on the look our for new suppliers. Locally sourced is always their preferred choice, for ingredients, utilities and necessities. They prefer using small, and where possible, fellow family run businesses.
The Cottage Bakery love being a part of a town that is so friendly and committed to keeping our high street unique.
