As far back as she can remember Karen McMahon has had a passion for baking and decorating cakes, and when Covid Struck she found herself as a Charity Events Manager without a job. During lockdown, with time on her hands she decided to learn a new skill, and so she began learning to pipe buttercream flowers onto cupcakes – family and friends were delighted to sample them – the gains and failures. She practiced nearly everyday, and 6 months later, after encouragement from her family, she started her small cupcake business – The Cupcake Company of Thame.
The Cupcake Company offer a range of delicious hand-crafted buttercream cupcakes and bakes that can be presented either in beautiful bouquets or boxes.
Their cupcakes are all hand-baked to order, using only the finest available ingredients. They bake in small batches ensuring a delightful home-baked taste – making them the most delicious bakes around.
